After placing your order,we send you (by mail) the Aly Dahl 'Impressions' Kit that includes a two part silicone putty and detailed instruction on capturing the best impression. You may take an impression of whatever you would like set in our high-quality silver. Fingerprints are the most popular, but your impression can be almost anything. Upon completion of making your cast mould, you send it (by mail) back to us (in the package supplied) which we then use to create your unique item. Depending on volume at the time your imprint is recieved, please allow up to 4 weeks for your item to be completed. Please see note at bottom of page regarding returns and impressions of infants. ** Please note due to the personalization of this product we do not offer refunds or exchanges - each print will be different, pictures give an idea of how it will look, but each finger is different & unique.
Personalized Finger/Thumb/Toe Print Charms $125
This is the item that started it all. Aly wanted to make something for herself that would be meaningful and unique, a piece of her children, one day while creating a nature inspired pendant she took an impression of her childrens fingers and then cast the prints in silver. Aly loved the look so much she made them into pendants. You will very rarely catch her without them around her neck. When you order any of the impression jewelry, a kit will be sent to you that you use to take an imprint with. When you send it back your comissioned piece of cherished jewelry will begin to be made, the process takes a couple of weeks to completed as everything is hand made in our small studio in Burnaby. Nothing is mass produced or rushed. We are proud of each piece that leaves our studio. Aly still puts the same care into each piece commissioned that she put into the first ones she made so many years ago with her childrens prints.
Birthstone fingerprint (or thumb/toe print) Charm $135
This is a twist on the original imprint charm, adding a stone to the print representing the month the person was born is a beautiful way to add a little colour to a charm. The stones are all lab-grown and not all stones are available all the time. Please be aware that depending on the stone an alternative stone may be used (with your permission).
Military Style Dog Tag $275
This dog tag is our #1 seller for Dad's (although a few high profile Mamma's have been seen sporting them recently). There is nothing better than seeing a Dad wear his kids so close to his heart. The stamping and prints are done in a military style, by request have a date stamped on the back as a military number,looks very cool.
Solid Silver Ring with Fingerprint impressions $350
This ring is solid. Beautiful silver with imprints impressed in the band. The lines of the finger are not deep, but the dimple of the finger is darling. This is a wonderful way to keep your loved ones close.

Cat / Dog Nose Prints $225 - $300
This is a great way to keep your best friend close forever. A nose or paw print of your dog or cat make incredible key chains, pendants and look amazing mounted in shadow boxes. The specialized putty that is used is not harmful to your animal and non-toxic and safe. These are super fun to make and great conversation pieces. It's a great way to keep your special loved one with you always.
Sweet Heart Pendant/Key Chain $275
This is the most romantic of the bunch, two finger or thumb prints joining together to form a heart. Have a love note handprint engraved or stamped on the back, and an anniversary or initials on the front. Past pieces have included a favourite wedding vow another had lyrics from "their" song. Or have 4 prints done on either side, 4 kids look really cute coming together as a heart.
Charm Bracelet $125 per charm
This bracelet is often refered to as the "Granny Bracelet" or the "Family Tree". First made for Aly's Mother (who proudly wears all 9 of her grandchildren's prints daily). Past clients have had Great Grandparents, Grandparents, Parents, Children and Grandchildren fingerprints all on a charm bracelet, it was amazing! This can also be done in necklace form, email for quote for more than 4 prints (discount given)
Earrings - Same or different thumb, toe or fingerprints $250
Have a different imprint in each ear or the same print, these are a classic style that go with everything. Have a set made, earrings and pendant. Fun, functional, and something to treasure for the rest of time.
Lucky Coin / Golf Ball Marker (Double Sided) $200
This coin was first made for an avid golfer who wanted something to remind him of his beautiful daughters when he was on the course. Not one to wear jewelry we came up with this "lucky coin/ball marker". Perfect gift for the golfer in your family! Have 2 different prints, or the same print on either side.

Once payment has been made a specialized impression kit is sent to you. The kit includes instructions on how to take a great impression, the impression putty and a return envelope to send your impression back to us.
* Please note that young childrens fingerprints are not very deep and may result in a faint impression charm. Toe's are deeper and make cute charms, if you have a young child (under 18 months) you may want to consider having a toe done. We use the impression you take to make the charm, if we feel an impression is not a good sample we will call/email you before casting the charm.
